Change hair of already made character

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 10:23 am

Ok, I don't think well end up pertaining to the the construction set, but I figured the people here had the best chance of maybe knowing how or if I can do this. I've always disliked all the character hair styles you can choose, and I just found a mod that adds new ones that I like better. However I've already made my character and played for a good amount of time. So going back and restarting/building the character would be inconvenient and time consuming. Is there any way to change the hair of an already made char after you've gotten past the initial creation point on the docks?

Console command: Enablestatreviewmenu

Brings up the character modification screen which can be used to change your race and other stats. Note that there are two problems, as you will lose all your spells and your immunity to all diseases (if you have progressed far enough in the main quest). Ie: it can seriously screw things up. I'd save hard before doing it.

Ok thanks. I'll back up my latest save before hand if I try it.

Yes, that's the way. It's the only one that can't mess up your stats. It only works once per session though, you need to exit and restart if you want to do it again.

Hmm after googling this one it seems quite a few people have had problems with it.

Only if you actually use to change your race or six. If you use it once per session to change your head and hair (which was the original question), it is absolutely safe.
