Do i keep my weapons, level and stats when i change Nickname?

I started a second mycrisis account to start over from scratch -- all seemed well; New stats, etc.

Then I unlocked the first customizeable class... It inherited the weapons, unlocks, and name from my original character. I now have a level five with maxed out modules. Ahem.

Its not a bug its a feature.

i did it easy on Saturday ... you just login in here & go to 'edit profile' page - then put in a new nickname & your password - hit the 'SAVE' changes button.
Go to Crysis game login now and change the nickname to what you just put into the website - Voila ! changed easily

i didn't had any problems. Got all the unlocks/dogtags etc saved

That is correct... It is just changing nickname , NOT adding / deleting your account or anything

Some characters are not allowed?! Like " = "... How should we know what you're doing wrong when you just write:

Log in again with your old nickname and try changing your username again.
