I'm just back to Morrowind, but I'm a bit sick of starting anew so I want to get back to my old character.
But I really want to wear some daedric armor while my character is trained in Medium Armor.
Is there a way so I can simply swap the skills. So that my current Medium Armor level becomes my current Heavy Armor level (and that they swap from major to what-ever-its-called-where-the-skill-starts-at-level-5)

XBox or PC? On PC, use console commands. On XBox, I'm pretty sure there's no way to do that.

but doesn't the console only allow you to change your class? And doesn't it remove all your spells? something I really can't afford.

Not exactly the solution you might be looking for but it's not hard to get rich and then just training heavy armor up to 50-75 rather easily and quickly.

If you just switch around the levels of your Medium and Heavy Armor without changing their places? So you would just have a high miscellaneous skill and a low major skill?
