Hi all.

A while ago I downloaded a wooden rocking horse .nif, think it was Strotti that made it or Tamira, anyway it looked fine sitting in a house, popped an invisible chair on it so child could sit on it. Today I decided to make it a MISC, original is STATIC. Duplicated "kettle01" and changed model to Rocking Horse. All looked fine. The Rocking Horse can be bought/sold and carried in inventory but when dropped it hangs in the air. In CK running Havok on it does nothing it still floats yet the kettle falls. I'm way from an expert in Nifskope but I can't see any reference to Havok in the kettle's Block List. Is there a way around this, a fix or is just the way it is?

If I remember correctly, this is handled in the bhkRigidBody block of the collision layer. Mass, inertia, motion type, etc. can all be found within this block.

Yea and if you're like me it'll be hit and miss. Copy the data for something you want similar havok for and see what results you get.

I remember that Rocking Horse too.

In fact it is not static but furniture and if you look at the pictures, the children sit on it actually.

Go and look for the update. I made a take-away version too, so you can use it as Misc Item.

I thought this was a good occasion to add proper collision to both of the meshes, the furniture and the clutter version.
