I have W7 Pro 64bit, every time I edit my ini in my documents folder, w7 keeps on reverting back what it was before. I have install Fallout 3 in c:/games/

The last upgrade my pc late 2012 and first time I played Fallout 3 with this upgrade.

You have to save the changes by left clicking on "File" in the upper left and then lift clicking on "Save" in the drop down menu.

It's impossible for Windows 7 to revert the ini file, it has to be something else that's doing it. Is it a Steam install, and if so are you using the launcher to start the game? With New Vegas using the launcher that comes with the game creates a new ini file every time, so you need to avoid using it if you make any changes.
