changing bone priorities

Post » Fri Jan 22, 2010 6:59 pm

Okay, I'm getting to the home stratch area of my animations, but I need to change priorities in animations easily. FOr most of it, i jnust need a batch way to change all the bones in a single animation to the same value.

Right now it looks like I will have to go in and edit the 38 bones in each animation to make them the right value, and really thats gonna take a while....so if any know a way, hex editing? maybe something in blender or nifskope?

Thanks. :)

PacMo added a few Toaster spells for me, one which was a bone priority modification switch. You should as him about the syntax - I'll post it in a few days time either way.

There is also this:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8447

Tazpns KF Updater -

It changes all the bones in an animation to the same priority, based on the priority value you edit in a document that comes with the program. Be sure to read the instructions in the download, if you use this.

with tazpns kfupdater, there is also -s for reading an ini file, that way you can set up specific bone priorities for any/all bones in an anim.
