I'm not sure but it wont hurt. the authorization tool is in one of your crysis folders.

you can easily de authorized the game in games folder
if you are using windows 7 :D

If it is not the exact same board the OP will need a Windows disc to either do a repair, or a re-install. Different boards have different drivers and the old OS will not recognise them.
