Changing the default directory for saved game files.

Is there a way to changing the default directory for saved game files?

If you mean outside of My Games/Fallout 3/Saves, no. But it is possible to direct saves to subfolders. There is a savepath variable in the ini file, located in My Games/Fallout 3/, and there are savegame managers that can do that for you, Wrye Flash for example does this (among many other things).

Funny I am dragging this died thread out again. I am now using Windows 7 and everything defaults to "c:" drive and this is not a good thing. To save space on "c:" drive I want to put the "c:\My Documents\My Games" (or what ever it is in Windows 7) to my "e:" drive or disk drive 2. Any solutions?

the only way i can think of getting round that is installing to your e drive
