Character Armourweapon choices.

So, I was playing my latest Skyrim character build, one I rarely ever do. It is a Lara Croft (no mods, XBox 360) and am switching between Heavy Armour and Light Armour. She wields the most loved great sword Ebony Blade (the daedric prince's sword, not the ones thoses pest Drauger Death Overlords swords). But I realized the Armour I use just isn't cutting the Tomb Raider/Blacksmith/Raider/Courier (admit it, all Skyrim is courier work for lazy towns people) way I want it to go. I switch between Ancient Nord Armour, Steel Plate armour (Heavy Armour, no helmets) and DragonScale Armour, and Savior's Hide with fur-trimmed boots (Light armour, no helmet). So if you got something that's makes your character a true tomb raider/blacksmith/courier look, share it with me, cause I still think Skyrim deserves it.

Best I can think of (vanilla) is close to where you already are:

Main armor choices: Fur variant #2 (covered shoulders, bare legs & midriff) or Savior's Hide or Ancient armor.

In each case, I'd pair the armor with scaled boots and scaled bracers.

Of those options, I'd go with Saviors Hide + scaled boots & scaled bracers. That 'outfit' is all light armor, it has magic resistance, it has decent armor rating, all three elements go well together because they each have fur + metal, and the outfit shows plenty of leg. What's not to like?

That is a good idea actually, I'll craft them when I get a chance, doing Lost To The Ages Quest currently. And yes, my character ALWAYS smothers her own equipment, unless absolute necessary.

But I didn't understand what you meant when you put Fur Variant #2. If you got a pic you can post that be great help.

Sure. Fur armor comes in four variants. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Armor#Light_Armor_Images

1. Topless (bra for ladies) and bare legs.

2. Fur on shoulders, but bare tummy and legs

3. Torso and legs covered, but 'short sleeves'.

4. Torso, arms and legs covered.

I think (could be wrong) that in the Construction Kit that's the numbering system used. Regardless, you can see what I mean.

Here's a http://i.imgur.com/NxhRumx.jpgof the one I mean in game. :icecream:

I agree with Acadian on the fur armor thing, maybe as a starting point, unless your tomb raider is less of a stealthy type and more of a hack and slash thing. Since Lara Croft is more fit/relies on her ability to solve puzzles and sneak around, I'd say this fits really well.

Now that I look at the Armour, it actually does have that look that might work. But their is a issue, my character isn't Lara Croft. I put that because I didn't know what to say, she looks like her but different name, but still is her.

She isn't a stealthy type either. Expeccially if I have a Armored Troll with me.

Did Lara Croft even wear armor?

For the nearest to t shirt and shorts i'd say clothes backed up with alteration. Lara Croft was educated. She didn't just rely on strength and agility.
