My character is siding with the Imperials, because Ulfric doesn't care about the Dunmer of Windhelm.

My khajit thief is a smith of dwarven weaponry and arms because while in the museum of markarth he realised that smelting metal+forge= massive profits.

Bookmarked

I'm gonna start off with my 2nd character, who died recently...that's why I'm gonna use past tense.

Thor a'Zyyne was interested in pilfering as many dungeons as he could and moved to Skyrim to do so, because Cyrodiil's dungeons had all been cleared of their treasures some 200 years earlier.

Claire Voyance the Cleric is interested in becoming some sort of healer because there's a war and people need help. Problem is, which side does she join? (I'm still decideing, lol). Or can she possibly just be neutral?

My Breton Battlemage is on a quest for revenge because of a certain Thalmor agent currently staying in Skyrim killed his family, burned down his home, and messed up his face.

I posted this in another topic, but I’ve expanded here.

Aurya is an Altmer refugee from Summerset Isle whose family were killed by the Thalmor when she was young because they didn't support the war. She was taken to Bruma by her surviving grandparents, but after the war they were killed during the burning of the Great temple of Talos (made that bit up). She joined a small resistance but was captured... thus her adventure began... She hates the Thalmor, and doesn't have much respect for the empire, but she believes the empire must stick together in order to prevent the Thalmor from gaining total control.

My Imperial female is a, secret, Talos worshipper and a battle mage because she hates the Thalmor for the humiliation imposed on the Empire, and thus worships Talos praying for retribution, and she is on her way to Solitude to enroll in the Legion to dish some out to Stormcloak separatists.

My Khajiit is a thief because everyone assumes he is anyway, might as well go with it. He is a killer because dead people don't call guards. He is an assassin because someone is willing to pay him to do something he would do anyway.

I was going to do one for my Dunmer battlemage, who is awesome. But he's really only cocnerned with increasing his own magical power and skill as a fighter. The only thing besides himself he cares about is Morrowind and it's current state.

My Breton is ironically a daedric worshiper because the aedra have yet to give him artifacts and great armor.

Spoiler
Yes, I know you can get divine rewards, but my Breton hasn't come across any yet.

Renee is here. Yay! Thanks for coming. :foodndrink: I think neutral is fine. My Khajiit is neutral in the Civil War. However my Altmer Mage may be taking the Stormcloaks' side because he now worships Talos.

Awesome stories everyone. I love this kind of stuff. More more more! :celebration:

My character is a Stormcloak because she is a self-proclaimed paladin of Talos. While he formed the empire, the empire has abandoned him, and only the Nords in Skyrim hold true to the Nine Divines.
Now she travels the land aiding those in need, and defending those who cannot defend themselves. Her role as Dragonborn fits in nicely with this. She does follow a strickt moral code, and will not lie, steal, kill in cold blood, use necromancy or consort with Deadra.

At the moment she is in Riften, a place that disgusts her. She seems to have found a kindred soul there in Mjoll the Lioness though, which is probably the only good thing about that place for her.

My Nord has a complex about not being able to grow significant facial hair....ever.

My Dunmer gets tired of charging and aiming his spells so he let's Lydia take on the burden of the fight then he applies the Novice slow roast.

My Dunmer is now devastated, because he got saved by a captured Stormcloak and couldn't pay the debt by freeing the man. The Imperial soldiers just would've been too much for him and the prisoner to take. The Stormcloak soldier saved my character's life when he was in a life-or-death fight with some icewolves. No idea why the prisoner hadn't his hands tied at the time... Now my character doesn't know what to do with the blood debt since choosing a side in the war has seemed just folly before the incident.

Ah! I enjoyed that quest. I stumbled upon it right before bed, and I had to force myself to put the controller down because I was so intrigued.

My Altmer Mage is trying to earn gold at every turn, because he wants to buy a house but doesn't want to live in Whiterun. He's stocking up on potions and ingredients, before he heads out to find another city.

My character is ticked off because of the fact that he can't marry Vex.

Damn the fetcher to Oblivion who made her with a unique voice actor that didn't have the default marriage dialouge!

My dunmer thief/assassin is selfish and racist because life made him that way. Living in the wilderness of Morrowind after the Red Mountain went off is not exactly pleasant and the fact that he's an ahemmusa ashlander doesn't make it any better.

tl'dr: Life's been a b!tch so it's pay back time.

Only for me I was getting set to do a few more things and finally leave Whiterun behind, and then that happened. I was going to put some stuff away in my house too. Like you I also had to go back to sleep by then, and I'm a bit frazzled now doing various things in the new city.

My Altmer Aramill Darkhearted was on the run from the Thalimor. He figured Skyrim would be the LAST place they would look. In fact the only reason the patrol picked him up, and sent him to the chopping block was he figure when he crossed the border he was safe. WRONG. Now he can't decide which side of the war he should join The Stormcloaks oppose the Thalimor. But if they break off from the empire how long will they last when the Thalimor attack in force. You know they will. Also he found Ulfric to be a bit of a jerk not to metion a kingslayer. That is almost as bad as being an oathbreaker. Oh yeah the Stromcloaks don't like him just because of his race. On the other hand the Imperials are a little to buddy buddy with the Thalimor. But if they manage to keep Skyrim and repair relation with Hammerfall. They might beable to defend themselves when the aforementioned attack comes. Even better take the fight to Summerset Isle with the Dragonborn leading the charge. Tough choice.

My Nord has made it his lifes goal to put Ulfric to the sword for turning his back on the greybeards and using the way of the voice for his own personal advancement rather than to worship the gods, only the dragonborn is exempt from this and the last time I checked that was me.
