Character Choices

I plan to be an orc, going toe to toe with some support magic. (Restoration and maybe Alteration...maybe...)

If the only race you can choose is a Nord I would probably have to think twice about whether or not this game is worth it. Character customization ( especially the choice of race ) was the most important part for me in TES series. Good to hear that your assumption was incorrect and there are ten races!

Is there a list of all ten races, and also where did the OP find the screen shots of the Nord characters?

I saw screens of the game in Game Informer Magazine and it looked mainly like a Nord character they were using in the gameplay demo for the article.

Bosmer for the first playthrough. Then a Nord for the second.

I wish they used the Dunmer, Altmer, Bosmer, Dwemer, and similar names.

They are more stylish than plain old Dark Elf, High Elf, Wood Elf, and Dwarf, but I think that in order to widen their possible customers, so they stick to the better known names.

Mine will be a Dunmer Knight or Paladin type, going around and ridding the world of evil, especially the undead.

Make that a Ra'Gada or Nord and we're talking :D

About the beards, good. There really is no excuse for not having them after Fallout 3 did it.

Unless you'r new to TES I can't imagine why you'd think such a thing OP. It's one of the series most recognizable thing's, being able to choose race.
