Character cosmetics !

Post » Sat Jul 30, 2011 9:59 pm

Some that bugged me about elder scroll games is once you created my character i could not edit any mistakes once the appearance options passed ,as a ps3 gamer using console commands are locked out for us
now im aware that skyrim has merged many of fallout features into this new patched engine ,i sure hope there is at least a barber in 1 of the 5 citys allowing the gamer to change characters appearance

so by the poll do you think skyrim should have character cosmetics options after you have already chosen ?

What about the sewers, where you had a second chance?

I hope there is a barber to change hair and beards, makes sense. I also wish (as I doubt we will) we could add scars as we play rather than only on creation, and tattoos if they are in.

Well maybe you can tell a bandit to bash your characters face in with a hammer so that's how you change your face.
A barber who can dye and cut your hair with mudcrab claws and blood.
Change your gender by putting two coconuts in your bra if your a man.
Change your race to Khajiit by growing fur.

I'm sure it'll work.

I've been hoping for the chance to be able to change your hairstyle and length, facial hair, and tattoos within the game. Makes sense. If you have to change anything else, IMO, then its probably just time to start over the game.

Change your race during the game?????,

considering race and appereance have no affect I won't care, it isn't a MMORPG.

Heyve already said no gender chance, why would there be a race one. Secondly, if that were the case, you could be damn sure that race will have NO importance whatsoever, since right now theres little/no stat difference and if you had this option it would mean that npc's dont react to you race in any meaningful way. Otherwise it would probably break the game (or cause some bug).
Let hair and tattoos be in (i think after char creation scars should be forced if anything, not cosmetic) if it doesnt take away from something else. Otherwise, just stick with your choices. If not, then use a mod/cheat.
