Character creation help?

Post » Mon Jan 18, 2016 12:37 am

I have played through the game twice now. I really like the look of my first character, and would like to be able to restart with her again. Is that possible? If not, is there a way to have someone else create her in their game and send me the file or something (Note: I am on PS4) I am terrible at making characters, but really loved this one, and I can't seem to recreate her just right, any help?

I don't know the PS4 but on the PC the game automatically saves a game called "vault 111". This essentially restarts your game from the beginning.

This. I don't know if you kept that vault 111 save (I sure did-- you never know) but it's the only real way to use the same face as another character. There are no character codes for consoles like Mass Effect or something. I'm not sure about PC because I'm on Xbox One but I doubt it.

Otherwise, just try to recreate your character as best you can. Maybe snap a screenshot or a picture or something and look at it while you're in the character creator.

Yeah, I don't think the PS4 creates the Vault 111 save... Which stinks, I never saw one at least...

I have been trying to recreate her, I don't think I will be able to accurately though.

Man, that stinks. The Vault 111 Save is actually a really nice thing to do on their part. Makes it easy to recover that laboriously created character (I tend to spend a LOT of time on faces) once you've managed to mess your game up beyond repair.

That really svcks :/ I don't know why PS4 wouldn't have that when the other platforms do.

Well, good luck! Who knows, you might like this version of her even more. And you should make a save before you enter the elevator to leave the Vault, just in case you want to start her over again on another playthrough. Make sure you don't delete it though! :P I've done that accidentally on many occasions in the past games.

It may have, I could have just saved over it. The save system is strange on PS4, loaded with loads of information, like playtime etc. I probably just missed it, I don't know... XD
