Post » Sun Oct 18, 2009 9:54 pm

sigh
i want an ability creator prior to release aswell, it's the character creator i don't want.
i don't want to know months before i can play with my character, how he's going to look

then once again let me repeat what has been said over and over for you...THEN DO NOT USE IT...ok?

For those whom it would "ruin the experience" then don't look

simple.

I have no such delusions that it would change or affect it's release for myself, and as such would welcome anything and everything pre-launch.

:nono: Be careful not to suggest another member might be "delusional" for their own personal opinion. We are all allowed our opinions around here without fear of being flamed for it. It's ok for you to think one way and someone else another way.

I suggest you be careful about such around here. :)

It's simple. If they release one, just put a huge SPOILER ALERT in every topic considering the character customization. People who want to check it out are able to, people who don't, will still have their surprise.

Cause in real life, you can't jump as far, and when you fall short... that 40ft drop could kill you.

Exactly, and not all people live near places where you can actually do parkour.

Personal order of things I'd like to see prior to release:

1) Freerun gametype
2) Ability tree
3) Char customization

you to obviously seem to be ill informed about parkour, we do not train on roofs unless we are experienced, like several years. the guys you see on youtube are either idiots or are very experienced. second, parkour is not just jumping on roofs, you can do it anywhere. i've been training parkour for a awhile now and i have yet to do roof gaps. so please, do some research before you talk [censored].

I'd like to point out this person has no idea what theyre talking about... Rooftops are EXTREMELY dangerous, even for pro's. Even a 12 foot fall could cause life threatening injuries so no.

Oh, and uh... by the way... nascar drivers DO train for months, before they even start driving... lol how fail...

Now thats out of the way...

I'd personally love to start working on my character before the game comes out. Far more then a "smart" demo, or a talent calculator. Sure each have their own purpose, but i think people would find that they'd get more enjoyment out of being able to deck out multiple characters with all the starting options, and then use them when the game comes out. Only elitists would really gain much from developing "down the road" character builds, and the SMART demo, though i'm sure many of us would like to see it, really wouldnt be that beneficial, since it should be easy enough to pickup once you start playing.

go to one of the big parkour communities and say that. better yet say that to someones face. i can guarantee if you said that to my face instead through a computer screen like a spineless [censored] you would get your ass kicked. again try doing your research before talking [censored]. parkour is not some a bunch of adrenaline junkie asshats, its a discipline closer to a martial art than to an extreme sport. i can bet money im in far better shape and you. i spend hours every day conditioning before i go train.

and if roof gaps are so easy why aren't you doing them? go ahead and earn yourself the darwin award.
