Character Customization Demo?

Post » Tue Dec 29, 2009 1:47 pm

Wouldn't it be cool if we could be given a simple demo that allowed us to experience character customization? Personally I would love this as it would only raise my desires of wanting the game! And maybe a look at weapon customization but eh, that's not as important.

Also, as an "example" of what I mean, think of the Spore Creature Customizer, that little demo that was completely free and only allowed you to customize your own little thing.

That would be awesome if they did but i doubt that they will because they are evil and want us to suffer until the release date...or they might not want any of their ideas stolen. Hell to be honest i would be happy if they just give us the list of all of the weapons and there stats.

I wouldn't count on weapon stats... but just a list of weapons....

Actually, Im more interested in the abilites, and if they'd be so kind, the levels/how they unlock

A character demo would only go so far. If it's just ll the stuff you can make at the start of playing the game, that might be fun for planning on the launch, but you could do tha with the real game.
If it shows all the combinations you can make then that takes away the surprise.

this has been discussed before, some people would enjoy, other's, like me, think it would lessen the joy of starting the game once you have it, there's no fun to be had in the customization, you already know exactly what you want once you start it.

would be fun tho to jiggle around and compare our to-be characters here in the forum. i'd love to see what extent of diversity the forums members can create.

i'd appreciate seeing those combinatios ingame for the first time, instead of seeing outfits i've seen before.

Could be fun, but I'd prefer a full demo over it.

Something like what they did for borderlands would be cool. There was an interactive skill tree released for borderlands before the game came out, so you could mess around with builds.

Now that's a plan, would like to get some basic builds up and running, and would be a good source of discussion.

That's a good idea because you could experience what it is like instead of waiting to experience it.

I agree. If anything, a list of weapons and such with their picture/
