Recently when I enter certain areas (first noticed in the throne area of the Blue Palace, but also occurs in certain caves and the torture room of the Dawnstar Sanctuary) my PC's avatar disappears. All interactions occur normally and I can interact with the world (pick up objects, enter dialogue with NPCs, initiate combat, sneak reticle still shows, etc). The disappearance happens in 3rd-person (but not 1st person); in 3rd-person the camera's position still moves as though the avatar is present.

I've searched around and haven't seen the issue mentioned by anyone else.

If anyone seen this and has a suggestion for how to fix it, I'd really appreciate it. It's mostly just a minor annoyance since 1st-person still works fine and since I can still interact with everything, but still.

Are you sure you don't have any mods interfering with the game? try disabling all the mods you got. if you have any other characters try using them to see if the problem is limited to this character only.


Oh and death to the Thalmor.

Mods had been working for several months prior to the issue appearing and I hadn't added new ones, but I'll try walking though them one by one.
