My character is glowing...

Post » Mon Jul 08, 2013 7:20 pm

I've checked the hardware/software issues forums, and saw this is a rare glitch, with no solutions provided, nor any recognition from Beth.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this, and what they may have done to correct it...

My character has a golden glow, with golden flakes floating off him. Basically, it's the same glow, with roughly the same strength as a candle, although I don't think it is producing light.

Basically, I had just collected one of the werewolf totems, placed it on it's pedestal, and then a minute or so later, my character glowed. It's not linked to any spell, clothing or equipment, nor is any affect showing up in the affects list. I've visited shrines to de-curse etc, I've gobbled down potions of cure disease and cure poison, and nothing has worked.

It's rather bizarre actually.

Are you on PC? If you can identify the "spell ability" that has become attached to your character, you may be able to remove it with the console.

Your description seems similar to the glow you get when you catch a disease, except that's supposed to go away, and you just said you're a Were-wolf so you're immune to disease.

Hmm..

Is your character pregnant?

Also: sounds like a bug with the disease animation thing.
