Character idea: Heroine Of Malacath.

Post » Sun Oct 13, 2013 8:04 am

I wanted to create an Orc character after a long time of Nordic characters. And this character seems like the perfect type.

And yes, as the name states, this character is a female Orcish warlord type of figure. Which is probably quite unusual, given that female Orcs are usually the wife of a chief, or possibly the Wise Woman. I considered making her the daughter of a deceased chief who valued her as a warrior. But I'm not sure yet, if you have ideas, then I'd appreciate them.

And ofcourse she keeps herself to the the ''Code of Malacath''

Don't steal...don't murder innocents, don't attack people for stupid reasons. But also, deal with your problems yourself. This character won't mind having a follower, but doesn't expect herself to treat him/her as a servant doing her nasty work.

Personality:

Courageous

Rebellious

Feels rather uncomfortable with Bretons and Redguards, but doesn't hold a grudge against them.

Enjoys good fights, but doesn't start useless ones.

Strongly dislikes arrogance.

Factions:

The Strongholds aren't an actual faction, but she does visit them as often as possible.

Dawnguard

Dragonborn:

Not sure yet.

Civil War (If Dragonborn):

Not sure yet, Orcs are usually loyal to the Empire. But I feel that regarding her personality, the Stormcloaks make a better fit. Or perhaps she just won't give a crap about the civil war in the first place.

I still have to find a good name for her, but I think that won't be difficult. But no doubt she will wear full Orcish Armor and Volundrung. No magic will be used.

To be serious though.

Gargara sounds like a cool name for an Orcish heroine.

I like your ideas and RPed a simular style female orc.

I had called her Borgakh the Brave (to realize later there is already a Borgakh in the game but the name stuck either way) She was raised at an orc stronghold outside of Skyrim and was a chief's daughter. She was born to his smith's wife but as tradition is with orcs, was raised by all his wives. She was skilled mostly in smithing but was a very good fighter and excellent hunter. I RPed she was bought by the chief Burguk of the orc stronghold outside Markarth to be given to which ever of his sons became chief. However she managed to buy her freedom by killing mammoths and collecting 40 tusks.

But she didn't cheat or steal.

She uses everything she gets from hunting, nothing goes to waste.

Doesn't kill for money.

Follows the rules of malacath. Crimes towards her are paid with coin or blood... and she prefers blood.

Joined the Civil War and sided with the stormcloaks.

She was became Dragonborn but did not do the DLC Dragonborn

Dislikes most races and would never dishonor herself and her kind by sleeping with any non Orc male.

That sounds like a really refreshing and exciting rp.

As I mentioned, Gargara (Good name you think?) feels uncomfortable around Bretons and Redguards because of the trouble they gave to her people in the past. She'll probably just use her two-handed weapon for hunting. http://skyrimcalculator.com/330938 So I might do that or alchemy. (Which seems fitting too.)

I think she needs a title too...but I'll get to that.

Edit: Apparantly there's a Greek city called Gargara. Nah, I'll go for Sharagash then.

Sharagash the Vigorous.

yeah my orc used one handed weapons (duel welding) and bows. Was very good with bows. dabbled in alchemy for healing potions.

Did not cast a single spell or enchant anything however.

Sounds like a good character. She will certainly be something to be reckoned with whilst wielding that giant steak tenderiser, will you be adding an enchantment to it via double enchantment skill, if so what?

You should at least utilize whirlwind cloak and some of the ash spells. Malacath is also known as the Ashen Knight, and his realm is filled with burning gaseous ash.

To back up Hevnoraak, Orsimer Women are expected to have some proficiency in Magic. The desire of an Orsimer Male is to gain control of a Stronghold and be killed by His Strongest Son when He begins to weaken, and become one with all the Stronghold in Death. The desire of an Orsimer Female is for Her Son to kill the Chieftan and then guide the Stronghold as a Wise Woman, and to become One with the Stronghold when She is tough to chew on even after being slowly cooked.

You could also summon Ash Guardians too. For mid-range support if anything, and to compliment the Ashen Knight motif. The Heart Stones are reminiscent of Lorkhan's heart, and Trinnimac turned Malacath is the one who ripped out Lorkhan's heart. So there is some RP potential to play around with for justification.
