Character keeps moving when i've stopped pressing the sticks

Anybody else had this in the single player campaign?
I'm walking along and get to a wall or something. I stop moving to look around but my character on screen keeps walking of it's own accord!

But ive learned to MAKE SURE he doesnt move at all before scanning the area :D

Your anolog stick might be stuck. It's happened to me on my 2 year-old controller. The movement anolog stick acts weird due to a lot of FPS action :(

Mine has been doing it too and my controller is only a few months old so I doubt it's that.

My wired controller is 4 years old and has been doing that since day one. Noticed it in Halo 3 and now all CoD's all my other games. It's so old that whenever something talks to loud or screams in their mic and my mic is in, my controller does stuff such as shoot, jump, crouch, flicker to the bottom right corner, and pretty much every other action possible. svcks when your trying to be stealthy in Search & Destroy in CoD. BUT OP, it is a controller issue, not a game issue. This might be the first game that you notice the movement, because this game takes slight, slow movements for tagging and being stealthy. Good Gaming.

Just tap your controller. Cave-Man style.

Same thing for the right thumbstick and aiming. My controller is fairly new and in one specific direction, my crosshair would move a little bit and slowly without I even though my thumbstick.

The thumbstick are just too sensitive around the center.
