Character Recommendation?

Hi guys. I've started playing again, and the only character I've every played with is a nord warrior. I'm looking for a new character that will spice things up for me. I'm playing on PC with the game heavily modded - Requiem, Frostfall, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Live Another Life, etc. I was thinking of doing a mage that specializes in Illusion, or possibly a spellblade. Or a wood elf archer that likes to hunt and collect herbs for potions, and dual-wields daggers if needed. Any ideas?

Well it sounds like youve got it figured out already. But since I mainly play a Nord warrior as well, I will say that a mage alt is very fun. I would recommend a Dunmer or Breton, but Wood elves are cool too.

Illusion is very powerful, so is sneak, archery, conjuration, alteration, and you can use daggers too. Its a fun way to play, the nightblade. Pure mages are fun too, but when you get to high levels and high difficulty settings destruction falls behind, so I prefer magic/melee hybrids.

A mage will definitely spice things up. As STX said, at higher levels, Destruction won't do very well. But you're on PC, you can fix that. Illusion and Conjuration are pretty much the best skills.
