They haven't been released yet. They should arrive in a couple weeks.

I would've thought they would be released a lot sooner than that.

Weren't they meant to be coming shortly after the Dunmer thief screenshot? 'Shortly' to me suggests a day or so after - week at most.

This thread is so misleading and is angering so many people that it should be closed. And the OP should learn to draw less attention in his titles if he doesn't offer any actual content.

Remember that the fan interview was said to be released "soon after e3", so Bethesda perception of time seems to be much different than the rest of ours.

They're not out yet. Yesterday Matt Grandstaff said they'd be released in a few days.

Also, please stop making threads with such misleading titles. Put a damn question mark on the end at least.
There are far too many threads with titles that make it seem like they have new screenshots but then end up just having questions about unreleased screens.

I think threads like these should be locked by the moderators. Misleading titles shouldn't be allowed. Just my personal opinion of course, and no offense intended.

I don't think the title was misleading at all. We're in here, discussing the screenshots of characters made by the previewers that we are supposed to see soon, are we not?

Just noticed this post by the author below the Gametrailers article that Booty linked to. It was posted on Aug 8th so hopefully this means our screenshots are truly coming this week.

"Hey! I was told that those of us who had hands-on time with Skyrim would receive a picture of our created character. I'll post a pic of my Wood Elf the moment i receive it. Or PM you it if it's way late. Here's my reply from Bethesda PR, "We're trying to get these to you guys early this week. I'll definitely keep you posted!" So, stay tuned.
Initially their eyes are dark, though you have the ability to change them ANY color you'd like. Those wondering what a Wood Elf looks like, think Kif (Futurama). "

The thread wasn't meant to do so, and you don't have to be angry, lol. I for one am not mad at all... I sure didn't expect the screenshots this early anyhow. Plus, this lead to Booty laying out an awesome link to every reviewer's website. :foodndrink: Awesome.

Why is everyone being mislead so easily? I mean jeez if there actually was photos there would be about 20 threads about them by now. Kinda obvious there wouldn't be since Beth just released the screen of the dunmer...

Anyways I can't wait to see these character screens, hopefully they're as awesome as the dunmer screen!

Nothing about the title suggests that there are actually screenshots shown.
