You left out medium. However, I'll more than likely play as a medium to get a hang of the mechanics, then switch to light to take advantage of parkour to the max.

Also will depend on which character I'm on.

There are so many of these, but I'll bite.

I'll start out Medium, because you have to. Then I'll probably switch to Heavy as soon as I unlock it (I believe it unlocks first), and then switch to Light again after I unlock that, to try out each one. Medium or Light is what I'm most interested in, though. It seems a shame to miss out on SMART, although I'm sure I'll play my Heavy character from time to time. :)

I would go with medium so I can move a good pace and use some SMART maneuvers that's available to medium to save my own hind from getting shot or slip n' slide then shoot. :gun:

I would only go light for only my Operative and maybe Medic classes.

By switching characters, yes. So at first you would have to start all over to switch your size. So, no, it's not permanent, but it's not a simple change either.

EDIT: Ignore me on this one, I'm probably wrong. My bad. :/

I thought i read somewhere that size isnt permanent amd u can change the same character's size between matches.

Sorry, you know, I think I might be wrong. Disregard that. Huh. I thought you couldn't but according to some older info you can. That may or may not be accurate, I don't know, I just don't know anymore! :P

It sounds like you can actually change between matches though. Adds less diversity per character, but probably better as a whole, considering you now don't have to restart as a new character after unlocking a bodytype for the first time. :)

Why cant everyone use all the character types? you wouldn't have a medic or soldier to be a light would you? or an op be a heavy. we should use all the body types to the fullest to accomplish the mission at hand. my 2 cents :)

What's wrong with a Light Medic? SMART evasion of fire, get to the guys behind enemy lines and patch them up. We have people planning to take the "Ninja Medic" route doing exactly this. I'm one of them.

And I want my Light Operative to have a nearby soldier to grenade-bomb the *#&$ out of an enemy position with me, then I can easily resupply. He Scavenges, and tops me up with ammo, I Hack Comms to make sure nobody else is too close by, and we bolt if they are.

Basically my goal in Brink is to try out different body types and class to fit my style when playing the game. Light Medic/Soldier is a must have since you can use Parkour towards your advantage and move faster than a medium and heavy which makes you more of a ninja if you do it right. Heavy Op would be a good combination however the big guy can't take alternative routes as the light guys.

Heavy Ops are good for staying with your main force and running Counter-Op, Firewalling, and using Comm Hacks to update the team on enemy movements. They'll be useful too.

To think of it, that sounds pretty useful.

Well link please then. Last I heard it was everyone starts at medium then can unlock heavy at 5 and 7 for light. You get a trial period with the body type but it was permanent. Could be changed so much is this close to release.
