Such as GCD. Just want to see how many people play with one. Thanks for participating.

use a cap remover.
It has to be "activated" ingame though,so I choose when it kicks inn, usually very late ingame.

I hadn't for the longest time, however I just started using GCD and it is most certainly different, however I feel it makes the game much more emersive and less like I am leveling up a character. So far I enjoy it quite a bit.

Can you explain? Is this a mod or a simple CC command?

It is a mod called "cap remover", with it you get two dudes at the siltrider in balmora, one to backup and restore stats, and one to unlock your stats after you reported them to him the mod kick inn.
Are /was different versions of it,how fast levelling goes and such,I use it to get over the 100 cap.
(sry,no link,have it on hd.)

thanks :goodjob: ,and it is the good version as well=doesn′t level so fast and less strange increases of h2h etc that one could get with 1.1.

To be honest I've never tried one. Most of the ones I've looked at have some compatibility issues that prevent me from trying them. I run a little over 170 mods and I have enough trouble keeping the ones I have stable (thank god for mash :) ).

I cannot play without GCD. MADD Leveler is workable, but it's a bit OP for my tastes.

GCD for me as well. I was never crazy about the vanilla leveling system and have been using GCD pretty much since I've heard about it. Haven't had any noticeable conflicts yet.

I use GCD. Never got around to trying MADD Leveller but I did consider it. Just didn't like how it went about it.

I much prefer GCD over vanilla leveling and, similar to Jac, have been using it ever since I found out about it.

Well, I'm thinking of sticking with GCD, according to the results here. I too have played it for a while, but thought I'd try a whole new
character and RP without it. Just don't wanna make the mistake of getting half way through a good RP and end up missing GCD.

Thanks for posting your thoughts on this, and I hope to hear from a few more of you before I start. I'm playing House Telvanni for the
first time with the Uvirith's Legacy mod, Sable Dragon, and Firemoth Expanded 1.4 created by Slowride. Maybe throw in
The Underground II and Vampires Embrace toward the end for a twist. I think this leveling choice will really make a difference,
so I'm kinda holding out for a choice. Thanks everyone!

I got fed up with the vanilla development when I got to level 6 today >.> Especially with the 1-5 skill modifiers, I freaking hate having to think about what skills I should use at what time. I'm looking into GCD, but I heard some complaints from hybrid and warrior characters saying its too hard or something. Is it that bad? I don't mind a little difficulty, but I am really wanting to play as a Battlemage and I don't want to realize I'm in a mess midway through. Haven't really looked into the others, but I've heard about MADD. not sure about it yet, some thoughts on these modifiers would be appreciated.

I decided to use it again on my new character. Glad I did. Yea, it does work best for mages at first, but give it some time
and you'll be liking it 4 sure.

Ugh is there any easy way to use GCD on a saved game? It says you have to inter your initial values, and I'm guessing initial means from the very start of the game. This seems like a pain with my mods, so there wouldn't be a way to see your initial stat review would there?

This is what put me off GCD. I was gonna use it but then I was assualted with this wall of numbers and I wasn't even told what 'initial values' were meant to be, let alone what they actually where, so I gave up.

Could you elaborate? I'm having a tough time choosing between Madd and GCD but only those. I really like the idea of GCD but I'm afraid of being too limited to certain skills and attributes and realizing I'm screwed far into the game. I want to play as a battlemage so I'd have quite a few skills around 30. Madd seems like a much friendlier choice, but I'm not sure about having no restrictions either. Is this what you mean by overpowered?

I'm in a similar situation. I really like the way that GCD works, however I am definitely going to play a hybrid character and am a little concerned . Further elaboration from users of GCD that play hybrid characters would be welcomed.

GCD for me.

Never worry anymore about levelling, endurance/luck, and also no more Jack of All Trades
