Character's you want to see again

Post » Wed May 11, 2011 6:02 pm

I don't know if Vivec is alive or not. I killed him in my game, but i think according to canon he's still alive after the defeat of Dagoth Ur, so he might still be alive. ( i never read the book i don't know if they mention his fate)

If the Nerevarine is in the game he should be fully armored and extra tall, to the point that you can't tell what race he/she is. I really am curious as to his fate, the rumors the NPCs in oblivion were saying was that he went to Akavir and he hasn't returned.

Hmm. I don't know if I'd want to see Vivec and, if I did I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from killing him. Divayth Fyr, on the other hand, would be awesome. I always felt like he was one of the more important/interesting characters in Morrowind.

Well in that case, it would be cool. I liked Cyrus, maybe he can give us pointers on killing dragons

On the subject of Nerevarine, if they really wanted some sort of appearance of him in the game, they could have some sort of situation that involves you telling someone his race and gender which would set flags to make Nerevarine the gender and race you had mentioned earlier in the game, though doing this in a way to not seem like a completely obvious foreshadowing would be tricky.

I'd be all for something along the lines of a group of Dunmer wanting to erect a statue of him as part of a shrine they wish to build and part of the quest would involve you providing a description of him (Through a face gen window) that would set the Statue's appearance (and unknowingly, his actual appearance)

It's really the only way I could ever see it happening that would still keep Nerevarine from having a canonized physical description.

Good idea about the Nerevarine. I think if they casually ask you what you think Nerevarine race/gender was or something, then make him in that image, I think that would be best, but i wonder if the Dunmer would still worship him/her if he were an Argonian!

How would your character in Skyrim know what the Nerevarine looked like? You would have to be really roleplaying for that to make sense.

I was under the impression the whole world knows who/what Nerevarine is but specifically never mentions his gender or race for reasons to avoid canonizing what he's really suppose to be to the player.

It could just be whatever your character THINKS the Nerevarine looks like. This way if he shows up like this in the game you could just say that you think the Nerevarine looked like your Morrowind character, and thats how he'd be. It wouldn't matter because the Nerevarine doesnt have a determined race/gender

M'aiq, Divayth Fyr, Lord Vivec, Yagrum Bargarn, Myself (Helseth)

P.S. Helseth is the best! :mohawk:

Also, where is the Big Head option?

M'aiq, Divayth, Barenziah, Vivec, and Yagrum Bagarn for sure.

It seems likely that Divayth got himself out of Morrowind without too much trouble, taking his "daughters" and Yagrum with him. A few centuries wouldn't mean much to them, I assume.

Barenziah and Helseth might be among the Dunmer in Skyrim?

Vivec is Vivec, and M'aiq is M'aiq...

I would imagine, if they were still alive, they would still have some loyalist followers. They probably could of safely escaped Morrowind if anyone could.

They were probably on the first horse out of Morrowind.

Divayth Fyr (TOP PRIORITY. Dude's just BOSS), M'aiq, hopefully Helseth, the Real Mannimarco, Cyrus (in one way or another,) and the Mudcrab Merchant!

Gotta say that I was disappointed to see no St. Jiub a.k.a The Bane of Cliff-Racers on that poll list :(

i did wonder how long it would take someone to mention him haha.

also maybe a 'ghost of valen dreth' scroll for the dark brotherhood, like rufio's angry ghost, it would be good to see that *expletive* again.

Here's some knowledge... they say Vivec disapeared... thinks he was taken by Daedra so I don't wanna see him again... and once we get a TES Akavir game, I want pieces of lord Nerevars diary hidden around the game... and finally find out that he was captured and burned alive by Akavirians...
The champion of Cyrodil should just have stayed and ruled the isles 'till he was eaten alive by an angry mob...

What about Barenziah?
My personal hopes are Divayth Fyr, Yagrum Bargarn, Helseth Hlaalu, Queen Barenziah, and an actual Manimarco (What the hell were you people thinking when you made him a lil' [CENSORED] in Oblivion! Do him justice!)...
But there gotta be a questline involving Helseth, Barenziah, and an attempt to take over a part of Skyrim and claim it as new Morrowind.

If some of the notables from MW are still around it will cause mini dragon breaks for some.Fyr got whacked but it was his fault for parading around in his fancy shcmancy armor .Helseth got whacked because he tried to set me up while protecting his mom(considered whacking her too but didn't,my char was bloodthirsty not a monster)plus he had a kick butt ring, and Vivec just had no shot at retirement once my char got the full story.

So if they are in its dragonbreaks for all that need them.
