In Skyrim, I could barely care about what happen to any factions or anyone, so siding with one vs the other wasn't too hard because I could care less about them. All the NPCs are pretty static, but in Fallout 4, the characters are a lot more interesting. It makes it tough to destroy the Brotherhood because there are good people like Haylen had a crush on Rhys, and she stands by Danse regardless of what happens. The Institute while appears to do heinous crimes have a lot of very nice people there. Allie is very nice and supportive, even Lawrence locked the food supply was because he cares about the place and wants Father to change his mind about the director. While I don't care about RR people, Deacon is a very cool guy to hang around. A lot of the characters are very memorable and they leave a big impression on my mind over many characters in Skyrim despite Skyrim being the game I logged in many many more hours.

Yeah the companions really feel like your crew/buddies expecially if you leave them all in one place.Their commentary about quests really influenced my decisions.

Being chewed and spit back out by valentine after the institute ending left me crushed lol.

Ditto about Deacon and Railroad.I wish in the BoS ending you cold refuse to kill the Railroad and the BoS would do it without you and Deacon would survive.

100% agree with you! I was just thinking yesterday that I am pleasantly surprised and happy that Beth created some great Companions, with amazing depth and differences. Same with the factions and their leaders. The companions are just like the ones in NV and thankfully, nothing like the ones in Skyrim! LOL There were a few that I liked in Skyrim, but all were rather shallow and as you said, pretty static.

So thank you Beth, for really digging deep and giving us some wonderful NPCs this time around!
