Hello.

I have reinstalled New Vegas and deactivated all mods, and still have this problem with the vanilla game, so I know that it's not a mod causing it!

Basically, I have a Bug where when I walk into the Prospector Saloon, Trudy will start throwing up when she reaches her position behind the bar. Then whenever I speak to her, after I quit dialogue with her, she throws up and stumbles backwards.

I have also had this problem with the guy at Gun Runners (I haven't really explored anywhere else due to completely reinstalling the whole game to try and get rid of this bug.

I've never had it before, so was wondering if anyone knows any fixes for it? I'm also playing on the latest patch with Dead Money and Honest Hearts installed.

It turns out that this was caused by the newest release of E.V.E, which has now been patched...
Unfortunately, this means no puking Trudy videos for you

Anyway, have you tried resettting the NPC with console commands or using kill and revive?
Could fix her but will probably kill the quest she has.

What do you mean she vomits, she should do that at all only the NCR guys at the Strip should.
Maybe a mod corrupted your files or you missed one.

My guess... is that you reinstalled to the same directory, only it contained a non-empty "Data" folder with mod remnants inside.

If a mod adds an altered duplicate of an official file into the data sub-folders, the game might use that one instead ~even after a fresh install.
(You would not need to enable the mod in the launcher for this to happen.)

If you decide to install again, make sure that the directory you choose is empty.

I reinstalled it, but completely emptied the NV directory before doing so...

Could it be something to do with the .ini? I may have forgotten to redo that when I reinstalled..

I've never heard of anything like it i'd hazard at guess it has something to do with your save file but I have no idea.

I have the same problem, and I also have EVE installed. This sounds like a funny glitch right, it isn't it is terrible! The sound it makes when they barf is annoying! Not to mention the whole barfing animation looks cheesy and glitchy. It's TERRIBLE. The barfing seems to happen to all of the Electro City engineers that are added by a mod, anyone who runs a casino table, the bartender in goodsprings, and the guy next to gun runners.
