Oh god not the Vindicators, that was the gun that looked like someone painted white wasn't it?
It does sort of look like it was painted white. It was the thick, white minigun that used the 4.7mm caseless in Fallout2. I remember back in Fallout1&2 once you got the Hardened Power Armor & the Advanced Power Armor all you had to worry about was the very rare and occasional enemy critical strike against you while they used a Flamer, Minigun, Plasma Rifle, or Pulse Rifle. So at the end of Fallout1 the the occasional critical chance a Super Mutant had with his Mini-gun would be the only threat aside from the even rarer Super Mutant that carried a Plasma Rifle. I love Fallout1, loved it so much I mastered that game inside and out. I've played through a butt-load of perfect playthroughs of Fallout1 with Perfect endings! Oh yes indeed I say perfect playthrough and endings where I would get nothing but good endings and the two bad endings would not pop up because I knew how to avoid those two special bad endings. It involved not entering The Hub or the Boneyard after a certain period of time.
Of course I have done the same with Fallout2 but getting all good endings on Fallout2 is much easier. And of course I have also done the same with Fallout Tactics but with only two different endings that one is the easiest to get perfect ending but of course the perfect playthrough I got on that was awesome because it is easy to screw stuff up in Tactics (every objective/optional objective completed and not a single squad member dead).
