Hello,

So I recently decided to re-install FO3 with hopes of installing some new mods, however, I've ran into a serious problem... As soon as the character generation screen shows during the intro sequence (or before leaving the cave for that matter) the screen suddenly goes black after 1 second or so and http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f276/Chriscross3234/Misc/Fallout32010-10-3118-39-38-17.jpg is a picture to show you what I am talking about. Nothing I've done has solved this problem, the screen just stays black. I've tried reducing the graphics/resolution to both the lowest and highest settings and the same problem exists.

This is off a fresh install with the official 1.7 patch. My video card is a GTX 460 with the latest drivers. I am not sure what the problem is, I've played FO3 on this rig before, any help would be appreciated. Thanks
