My suggestion is that we start to write the dialogue for the dumb NPCs of Skyrim. I don't mean quests, I just mean a conversation to have with them, a few unique sentences for some, a longer story for others of what happened in their lives.
And as we go, those that can work on the voice acting start practising the dialogue. We have months to get it right, we can just add the dialogue to oblivion to check it sounds good enough.
When the game comes out it will be quick to convert to a skyrim mod, apply the dialogue to the dumb NPCs and let everyone experience the world fully.
How many would we need? Maybe we just start by aiming for 100 dialogues, if we make it that far in time we keep going. Maybe devs can give us an idea of the proportion of the different races.
The community would vote for their favourite dialogues and these would be prioritised for the mod. The community would also vote for the best voice over of each dialogue to be included in the package.
