Charon gone on holiday?

Post » Sun Aug 09, 2009 12:54 am

I told Charon that he was fired for the second time with my character. I know you are supposed to find him in ninth circle however after I fired him last, looking for him there has proven fruitless.

I am assuming this is a glitch and I am simply asking is there a remedy. The obvious is to load from before he went AWOL but I can't really afford to do that as I have made days of progress since then. I still have his contract in my inventory so can I use that to get him back somehow?

Anyways you are my last hope.

Moral of the story don't fire Charon.
Spoiler
I did it for roleplay purposes in that I didn't think people from 101 during trouble on the homefront would like to see a ghoul. I think it would cure their need to get out.

I am on the PS3 GOTY edition so no PC console commands for me. :brokencomputer:

You can solve that cure by "upgrading" their reactor. Need or not, you gotta get the hell out now :)

And he may have died?

That svcks, now being a good guy I can have my dog who can't shoot, Fawkes the annoying tank or Paladin Cross who is useless *sigh*. I'm going to be a ghoul hater on my next play through.

Ya, the best way to fire followers, to be sure you can find them after, is to take them back to where they are supposed to go. It may not be great for RPing, but it guarantees you can find them when you want to rehire them later.
