Cheat for AP concerning powerarmor hoverjump jets

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 5:04 pm

Ok, have a question. This concerns using the jumpjets/hoverjets (Whatever they are called) with power armor.

With my AP I have maybe 3 seconds max life using jumpjets before I crash down. That can get me about 10 feet in the air, that's it.

This doesnt appear to be mod-able....I raised my total AP from 160 to 4000. And my time using the jumpjets was the exact same.

For some reason it goes through 4000 AP exactly as fast as it does 160 AP normally. So there has to be something in game that sets up to use a percentage of AP a second for the jump jets. Anyone able to figure out how to change that?

Related to this. The AP refresh time from 0 to 160 AP (Max) and the refresh time from 0 to 4000 AP (when that was max) is the exact same. So there is some variable in there somewhere that has to be changed.

Also, when I used up the 4000 AP and reset the number to 160, it put me at -3000ish AP and it took around 6 to 7 minutes to count from that negative number back to 160 AP. So the values are connected somehow.

Any help on how this works and how to tinker with it would be most appreciated. Granted, we're talking about cheating here. But this is only about single player so it's not like I'm trying to screw anybody else over. I just wanted to have a little fun using my jumpjets to fly to the top of skyscraqers and stuff. :)

since i am not allowed to post links here (for what reason?!), head over to nexusmods and search for lowered jetpack ap drain. there is a mod there which removes the ap cost and allows for quite some "flying" around.

since i installed it, i never go anywhere without my PA. it's simply to much fun to jump from rooftop to rooftop.

Yeah, dont really want God mode. Just for my jumpjets to last longer than 2 seconds. :) That tip does work btw if anyone else who's reading in here is interested.

This is for the PC? Find your Fallout 4 in your Steam folder and there should be a data folder to put it in.
