I'M A CHEATER !

Post » Tue Jan 14, 2014 12:17 am

I'm going to be stepping out on a long term relationship and I'm gonna get me some strange. I've been happy and content for a long time but the thrill is gone. Things have gotten to be routine and predictable. I've tried in earnest to rekindle the excitement that I once felt but the temptation of a new experience is overwhelming me.

Tonight I will play SKYRIM for the first time. I feel like I'm cheating on FALLOUT. I want to play Skyrim but I've been reluctant to start.

Have you ever had problems transitioning from one game to another after several hundred hours of gameplay or are you more than ready to start a new campaign?

Are you able to juggle different games and save files? Or do you stick to one build, or one game at a time?

Are you a cheater to? Will it get easier for me ? After I make that Skyrim booty call a couple more times?

Don't worry, everyone has made that Skyrim booty call a couple of times. No one is willing to admit it though.

For a moment there, I thought this would have been something enlightening.

I was wrong.

You'll love the game.. until you encounter your first group of mages. Then you'll realize how horribly broken it is.

Also, I was really preparing myself a big post in my head on how you're a gutless piece of scum til I saw the punchline.

 This is a brilliant way to hook people into a thread I otherwise likely wouldn't have entered.

Ya know . We agreed from the start that we were going to have a "open relationship" but it still seems wrong.

I hope playing Skyrim is funner than rideing a moped.

It could be a enlightening thread if you want it to be. There's something to my attachement to my beloved Fallout I've played for so many hours.

There have been other temptations and flirtatous titles trying to get me to stray. For some reason I've been hopelessly in love with FONV. Skyrim has sat there unopened scince Christmas you'd think I'd open it that day.
Do you have this connection with any of yor games and why?

Here I go ! I'm set for the next couple hours. I hope it hooks me and I get into it.
I hope the magic is there. Pretty excited . I haven't read much about it . I've never even seen the title screen. Will it be like Oblivion ? What's the music like? Can I be a Khajit? Did they improve the archery? I will know soon enough.

Goodnight Gamers

No doubt you'll have some good times together, but in the end you may realize, nothing you did together really mattered.

Sure Skyrim will tell you your the best it's ever had and ever will have... Sooner or later you'll see it for what it truely is, pretty but shallow.

You'll see it was just a passing interest and come crawling back... Begging for forgiveness. Like a lot of us have.
