This is why servers need a ping filter. Seriously, join your own region servers. There is a whole filter list for multiple regions. It's inexcusable for Russians, Europeans, ect to be playing on North American servers, and vice versa. All you are doing is abusing your pings, as this game favors lag over anything else.

There should be an auto kick for players over 150 ping to be honest, even 150 is too high in my opinion but its a start. The worst part is these laggers have an advantage in game.

lol true , the server I was playing on CS:source would kick you if you had over 90 ping XD !

It's really quite impossible to be sure about your ping in a certain server. The browser is all over the place when it comes to this matter. For example, I haven't seen a single server below 100 ping in the browser (even if I choose Europe), and most of them show exactly 1000, but the in-game ping is anything from a couple of hundred to about 50. So before the server browser is fixed, an auto-kick is a very bad idea.

I made a topic asking why the higher ping players are always ahead of everyone else. I tried it myself (higher ping server) and meleed a guy who turned out not to be even in the same building as me! My average ping on US servers is 18 or less!

i only play eu servers and i see people with over 200 ping.. wtf cant people use the browser???
i play between 20-40 ping :3
