I'm not pointing any fingers at anybody . Obviously, people cheat on Crysis2 like they would on any Call of Duty game .. When I say "Cheat” I refer to ANY of the following:

Using an Unlocked Ps3
Modded Controller
Exploiting of Bugs/Glitches
Hacking Software
Ect ....

Now with BLACK OPS and MW2 I've seen games stop, kick the whole team back to lobby and there was an error code stating the player who was "cheating”.. I loved when that happened.

I hate CHEATERS. It's hard to determine when ppl are cheating and when they are not. I know kill cams don't match up to what you see due to lag or whatever but sometimes I see things out of the ordinary. Super fast movement speed WITHOUT Mobility Enhance, Turbo like firing on semi auto weapons, ECT WITHOUT rapid fire.

My question is ... Will the players ever get caught? What is Crytek doing to stop "Cheaters" ? I hate cheating.. I don't mind loosing at all but I always wonder who does and who doesn't .....

I don't like they to, but i don't give a f#%$ to them cause it don't afect me, beacuse, cheaters are SUCH NOOBS

Never saw a cheater online, you mind making a video when you catch one? I thought exploits and hacks only exist on the 360.

there is some fishy players out there but as The4orTy67 said proofs needed.

Personally the other night (saturday) i unloaded from point blank, a jackal and a majestic to a non armor moded player's face then he shot me once with his pistol and killed me thru armor mode.....fishy, but no proof so QQ

What an idiot -.-' That's the attachment that you can put on your weapon that it's called hologram... and is used to trick enemys.. when the game is loading to entering in an online game, bellow shows some tips and usually appears that message that the hologram can be used to trick enemys.

you don't need to be so smart to figure that out.. if you select the hologram in the weapon attachment, there says what is it for.

QQ, i couldn't reply to this one after work last night, cuz PS3 browser fails worse than.......um...North Koreas Womans soccer team.

Yeah that is the Holo gun attachment, made me lol.

And as for the topic, there is officially no hackers on PS3 Crysis until proof is shown.

proof means alot, we just watched a woman who blatently killed her daughter walk free the other day due to lack of proof.

I thought I had a cheat, so I befriended him. He only plays TIA, and has an astonishing KDR (>4.5 last time I looked), and we let him into our squad. First couple of days he started getting killed a lot by the enemy. Then one day our squad is split and he is up against me. I empty a clip from a Scarab and 7 rounds from Jackal all at short range and all hitting him - no misses. Needless to say he didn't go down and shot me.

So after the match I confront him, telling him it's strange and asking about his bandwidth, and suddenly he gets a severe attack of shyness and clams up. Hasn't been in our squad since.

Now that's all circumstantial, but compelling evidence. I did mail the devs asking them to check him out, but nothing, not even a response to the request.

It's easy to tell when someone's lagging out and nor cheating, but there are more and more cases of people getting extraordinary results from mediocre gameplay, and unless the mods do something like COD, I fear things will get worse.

I love this game, but once these idiots take over unless unchecked, the game will be seriously ruined. The in-game scoreboard shows 850,000 players so at $10 a pop that's $8.5million. Surely it doesn't cost that much to get a full time mod job done.

Oh, and of course, though the cheats are making life hard for us, the only ones they are really kidding is themselves. They are not as good as their scores would suggest and they will never have the satisfaction of playing a game, and thinking "God that was hard to win, but I feel great"

Ima put it this way, my SQUAD recks everything we don't lose. An everyone knows we legit, so to be real I've played with all the top players in crysis 2 an we go head to head I really really really Doubt anyone cares about crysis 2 nuff to cheat. An there is no where near 850,000 players. Thread is useless an pointless imo an if anyone has anything to say about that let your game speak for you as we reck shop. Ask anyone they already know who I am an who the top clan is. There is no cheaters, just baddies an pros tbh. But hey lemme hop off my high horse.

People boast about how good they are and competition has been shown by Clans facing each other and posting on these boards.

I have no DOUBT people cheat. Which is as easy and making a LAG SWITCH that you can use on ANY shooter. Even back in the NES days people had the "Turbo Controllers" that made button mashing useless!!! I know PS3 has Modded Controller! To me, that is considered cheating. Sky’s the limit in the technology world but I’m not trying to get all scientific and ****.

My point was to see what people had to say about this sort of thing. It's almost taboo because the people that DO cheat are not going to come out and break it down to us like some type of biography. I just hope cheaters get caught or that people like CRYTEK and other companies try to stop or moderate games for this type of stuff.

We all know there's some huge lag in Crysis 2's multiplayer. To be honest I didn't notice how bad the lag actually was when playing with my US account against people from the dirty Americas. Sometimes every player but the host had a one bar connection. Talk about host advantage. So yeah, the host (which is a member of some clan which you surely read about on the forums) took us down very easily, I think he went 11-1 before I rage quitted that **** session. So sometimes it may feel like hacking but it could also be just really baaaaad laaaaaag. Just search YouTube for Crysis 2 hacks, they only work on PC and 360, I have yet to see a video which shows the PS3 version.

@arsenic: I think you're wrong on this. I care and the people I play with care. Nobody ios questioning you or your friends abilities, but I don't want to put in hours of game play only to see someone with a couple of minutes outscore me, without bettering me in a fair fight. And when you constantly get killed by someone it takes the fun out of playing. And if it ain't fun, then what's the point of playing it

Yes, but at the same time the people that spend days on in are of course going to outscore you cheats or not see what I'm saying? Complaining about it won't change they are not going to say "OVER HERE!!!" an crytek don't care, hell ill be damned if they ever post on a thread that is serious.
