I have been seeing a lot of 'whining' about cheats, and as I see it cheats are far from the worst problem in C2 right now. I mean, Just leave the match and find another. They really need to fix everything else. First they need to fix PC server supports, so we can actually join servers.

Then they need to update for DX10/11 and add a slew of new graphical options rather than the current 3 preset options. Which is really not a big deal to me seeing how I can run the game perfectly(not a hard thing to do at this point mind you) without the upgraded Multithreaded rendering, just a pin in the ass for the majority of C2 players. But they really do need to update from the DX9, that however does have considerable impact of the graphical quality of the game, The Xbox 360 is 7 years old and has DX9

making me come to the conclusion that this was obviously a port. However, this game is by far the best game that has come out for the last 4 years on the PC, Port or not.
There are just some things they need to work on immediately before adding some terrible pseudoPunkBuster, or PB itself which may turn a lot of players off to the game.

problem is you cant just leave the match and find another ... there are so many of them .. the anticheat bs dosnt work atall.. aim bots and the "hacks" witch give full energy = stelth/armor has killed the game (well mp anyway) .. i would agree there is a lot to do in the game but as far as mp gose i would say cheats are the biggest problem as it makes the game unplayable the bugs dont.

I'm not denying that there are hacks just because I haven't seen them in C2 yet. Just that It isn't hard to avoid those servers and find one that has no hackers in it. I have played online FPS for a long time and know how to spot hacks. Its just that, it really isn't game breaking.

where are you playing then? because i've only played MP once and did not have a cheater in the server i was playing on. unless you're playing on some specific server that cant be found in the general list of servers, i think you're either lying or havent been paying very good attention..

Look at mw2 for example with VAC, the fact cheaters could play for a whole month (sometimes longer) before getting banned made VAC pretty useless in the first place. Crytek are going down the same route as Infaility Ward if they don't implement/update their cheat protection to make sure these hackers get some stick.

Some bugs can be tolerated up to a degree unlike cheaters, also which if you leave a match it counts as a loss and they've won.

I'm starting to think these people that are finding the hackers aren't using the server browser. they are just doing matchmaking.

This is not a good example at all, due to the fact that C2 has a server browser and MW2 does not.

and second who cares if you get one or even 30 losses on your record, that really doesn't matter at all. Not a game breaker.
The only game breakers I see with C2 so far is that they have really bad server support.

The cheating is ridiculous in this game. I really enjoy the game but will drop out of any servers that have cheaters on them .

Yes it is. Because I really don't see cheating as a game breaking problem right off the bat, especially in this game due to the fact that there is a server browser and is really easy to find a server with no cheaters.

Honestly, People complain anytime they get killed or get dominated by a single player and then blame it on cheating and not their lack of game experience. This happens every time a new FPS is released. And I think a lot of this "hack flak" is stemming from that.

Is there a cheater/hacker list somewhere to post videos and screenshots of these pukes? I've got a few I'd like to list. EDIT: just read the updated forum rules and they have made "naming and shaming" unallowable. Nevermind...

I use the server browser to find a nearly full server with a relatively low ping. And when I see an obvious hacker, I take a screen shot or FRAPS and then leave. No need to sit around for the torture. I agree that a decent player can easily have a kill/death ratio of 3:1 or maybe even 4:1 without a doubt. I think the concern with cheaters are those that have 73 kills and no deaths. That's not skill, that's an unfair programming advantage. Not cool.

I just got kicked from 2 games, accused of cheating when in reality im just one-shotting ppl with the Jackal (if they don't have armour on) and being a smart player, rather than be constantly in cloak like everyone else seems to be. I was about to win the damn match and get a nice amount of XP from skill assessments, but nope cant have that in crysis 2.

That's exactly what you should do. I have been using the match making system and playing on some different servers today and I still haven't come across any at all. I will definitely be recording a short clip for proof and setting up a blacklist youtube channel once I do come across them.

Almost all Australian servers are dead, all the other regions have massive ping and its horrid to play, plus they are either all full or all empty.

I do not care about MP, I want my graphics-card-raping game of death.

in every single game if a player gets killed alot others cheat, same old story.

anti cheating system is the most important thing that needs to be done in next patch. flying player killing me hundred times is really annoying. Or ultra fast cloaked all the time muther...er. I can't understand cheaters, there is no fun with cheats.
