Checkout these swords!

Been making these swords, and made the UV maps for them. I had a go at texturing them myself, but.. lets just say I'm pretty much as good as a lion is at playing the piano.

More to come! Seriously, please ignore the textures, and look at the models themselves. Models are deceeent looking I think, I'm just beginning. If yall more experienced modelers out there have any tips for UV mapping, texturing or just modeling, HALP ME?

Edit:
Actually, if any of you more experienced guru's out there had any texturing/modeling/UV mapping tutorials that you've used in the past, and found useful and knowledgable, could you swing them my way? I've been looking for tuts on my own, but I'm guessing you guys might be apart of some forum groups for this stuff that can offer me some insight. THANKS GUYYSSS.

You might want to slap the first sword's texture to the second one, will do it more justice. Like above me said, interesting design on the 2nd. In fact, it's the first time I see a sword like that :) (and no, it's not an irony or something like that)
