Does anybody out there know what food items will be placed in game i.e. mutton, beef, oranges, cherries, duck l'orange?
Will there be cooked items and meals?

We probably wont know till the game comes out. I dont think that this is high on the priority list of information to be released.

i don't know what food will be in the game, but i do know that you can cook this time around so i am expecting a larger variety than of food than what was in oblivion.

In Oblivion I got at least one of every ingredient. This included things like painted troll fat

I could only watch about 15 seconds of that before deciding it was much to bizarre to watch so early in the evening.

I guess Skyrim cheeses are likely to be holey stuff like Jarlsberg, though my character could quite fancy a nice sharp Cheddar, a blue Stilton or even a runny Brie. I'm not sure what would be the Tamrielic equivalents, though.

Well, that once concept art piece of meats showed horse meat, as well as other types. I'm personally psyched for that kind of variety in foods

If you look closely at the door of the windmill in the trailer, you will notice that inside is a working grist mill (flour grinder)! You may be able to refine collected ingredients, ie. wheat to flour, etc. Alls I know is that if i don't get to stuff some peasants head under the grinding stone I will be sorely disappointed.
