Chest has no categories!

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 1:37 pm

That′s why all my collected and stored things were only stored from a-z, but not with categories! Books, armor, weapons... It always takes time to find the things that I would like to use!

Hope there will come a patch or a mod for it.

Agreed.

While they're at it, I'd like like categories on the favourites menu too.

Agreed, especially with some of the, hopefully unfounded because it isn't logical, rumours that only one chest in your house(s) is "safe". Even though I want to be able to store my cooking ingredients near my Cooking Pot, my Alchemy ingredients in my Alchemist's Satchel, my Potions in a chest nearby, my Soul Gems and jewellery near my Enchanter's bench, and all my Weapons and Apparel in a different chest, they still really need categories.

Yes I miss that from Oblivion. However I just place things in my chest/drawers by item. Its a real pain to have to sort things this way when I come back, but it makes it easier to find things latter.

would be nice if you could sort by value/damage/weight too

also would be nice if the menu used up some more screen space... even a 2-lined list would make it easier to find things quicker
(anyone remember the morrowind inventory menus where there were icons arranged like folders are in windows. that was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier to find things in quickly than a single text based list

Wish there is also "Store All" button available when you have container opened, storing manually tons of herbs is such an agony.
