German? It reminds me more of Caldera/Pelagiad than something German

Yo, Imperial City. Why so Greek/Roman?

Yo, Bruma. Why so Scandinavian?

Yo, Bravil. Why so English?

Yo, Leyawiin. Why so Norman?

Because inspiration from real world cultures...?

Wasn't the architecture supposed to be Dunmer-influenced?

I guess they're talking about the mainland cities we never see and not Vvardenfell.

So, what is it?

It's a bit difficult to sustain a conversation if we don't "get" what it's about. (Although that doesn't usually stop me from trying... ;) )

I like the fact that the cities of Cyrodiil all have distinctive styles. It pushes aside the usual complaint of "Generic, all the same, yada" that we often hear about Oblivion.
