Children are present in Skyrim

From GI "For example, dropping a weapon could lead to a child trying to return it to you, it could also spark a fight between men who want to claim it." to see rest of issue, buy Game Informer February version.

Old news is old?

Also you lost points on your attempt to use Impact font, for two reasons.
1. It failed
2. It's impact...

NO, I'm not glad they are in. They shouldn't be in the game. The reason, well we've been through this already.

No, but it's not a game-ruining thing for me. I'm certain they're going to be unkillable, so I can see them getting in the way.

Though I am curious as to what an Argonian and Khajiit child looks like.

What kind of paranoid society do we live in?

Yes, children add immersion. What people are worried about is that children might act like hundreds of little "adoring fans" which is silly.

I really dont like to vote in polls, so i will throw my 2 cents in here without voting. I really like the idea of children being in the game. I think it will add a layer of depth that previous titles (Oblivion and morrowind) were missing. I know that there are several things being done to make towns feel more "alive" and i think have little dunmer running around, or seeing a Nord with a huge stick, or a little high elf run up and try to boss you around would really add an interesting aspect for immersion sake. I loved the inclusion of children in fallout 3, especially that whole "little lamplight" zone it just kind of reminded me that ya, kids are still out there and will one day grow into advlts. I am a bit concerned that they will repeat the idea that children cant be killed. *activates flame resistance aura* I know it seems terrible, but it was pretty lame lobbing a mini nuke from the fatman at that smart@ss kid in the town in fallout that had been overrun with fire ants and him just walkking along with that smug look.....I also completely understand where Beth comes from by not letting you kill children....this would just be a horrible thing....except for mabye some baby bosmers?....anywhoo

TLDC: there has to be a way to include children, make them unkillable, but also make then more responsive to what happens to them.

PS: In the rare even that bad things can come to children in TESV...I would like to propose a "Modest Proposal"

No, because of all the other content in such games, children just don't belong.

Uh, no, they really won't. For obvious reasons that I can't state here.

It's not creepy, it's the truth. It's the same reason I don't want them there.

I would think the complete absence of children in a open world video game the likes of Elder Scrolls would be far more immersion breaking then having them in.

But as someone pointed out they just don't belong due to the content of the game. I've never once questioned why I never saw a kid in Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption for that matter.
We are not suppose to talk about kids being killed, but if a freaking dragon is destroying a village, burning it to the ground, slaughtering guards, and there are kids just running around during that I won't be happy. They don't have to get hurt, just put in a script so they all run to the nearest chapel or something. Everyone is happy

I'm glad for the variety they add to the environment... Still not sure whether or not I want them to be killable via mods.

I bet if they took women out of Skyrim, you wouldn't question it either.
