It was just an example to show how time has progressed since you decided to have a child, time moves on

Sort of like harvest moon? Minus the mass killing.

I still don't get why you slipped mass murder in there...

it was an example of time moving on while you raised a child

Sorry, but I just don't see what having a child could really add. I mean yes, I understand for the RP factor that having a child in the game with your spouse might add something to it. However, all it's really doing is spawning an unkillable NPC. Unless you played for years and years of game time, there's nothing the child could do for you, in terms of either being able to adventure with you or give you quests.

While I won't be angry if I can have a child with my spouse, it's not something I'm really going to be looking to do.

I dont mean years, persay by the time you have finished the main quest (had child at halfway mark) they would be a young advlt able to adventure with you,not being immortal(anymore),and yes giving you quests/help along your journey....

Reminds me of harvest moon or fable, or rune factory.

Ok, I'll clarify my opinion. I don't want to have children, I want children as background decoration.
