For anyone who has played with the Hearthfire dlc: I adopted 2 girls and moved them to my Solitude estate. One night I came home and found one of my girls in an odd pose and my reaction was to say, "cut it out you two!" but there was only the first girl I adopted in front of me. She did and went upstairs and went to bed, only her. My other girl was missing. I've gone all over town with no luck. Did she get mad and run away? Was this a glitch? Can I adopt another child? I went to look for the boy who was in Dawnstar with no luck. Do I need to redoownload this again? Any help will be appreciated.

Try moving the family to another locale, if possible. Sometimes one does tend to disappear, but moving to another location will make the missing child reappear.

It also seems that they have preferences, some houses are liked and some are not.
