Children in Skyrim?

Post » Fri Oct 14, 2011 6:51 am

So I've been hearing stuff about kids in Skyrim not gonna repeat any possible leaks but according to allot of people there will be children in the game just wondered how will that work?

I know you can get married will you be able to have and adopt children like you can in fable? or do you think they will just be around?

Tbh in fable 2 and 3 the idea of having children was cool but they are pretty useless all the do is demand gifts and take money out of your pocket

well i hadn't seen it I have seen other topics repeatedly talked about so i assumed if their was one it must have died ages ago and some others may not have seen it and may want to contribute to this one.

Sorry, you don't get it, the mods will close this and refer you to the thread that's been linked.

That's ok :) Use that thread instead in my post #4, probably may have the answers to your questions about this subject. Cheers! :foodndrink:

If they're like a bunch of adoring fans, I'll be very sad.

Kids did appear as NPC's in the demo video Todd Howard showed an audience at one of the conventions. But its been confirned the player character can't have kids so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Nothing to worry about, besides of course commiting a crime next to one and not being able to eliminate witnesses. It just doesn't make a drop of sense for them to be in the game. Devs are too soft on this issue. We have severed heads on pikes for gods sake.

As opposed to Oblivion, which had no kids? Kind of a funky world where everyone is instantly advlt. And just don't commit crimes with them around.

Ok...#1 I'm not going to spend the whole morning going back and forth on this. #2 I don't mind that they are in. #3 You do.

Ok, lets just leave it at that. I'm not going to convince you of my view. You're not going to convince me. Its a big world, room for both.
