Children

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 3:00 pm

I know to a lot of people it doesn't matter but it's definitely something I'd appreciate, it would just add a new dimension to the whole fictional population, a lot more varied and interesting, y'no? I've heard the whole "can't kill children" and "don't want to make them invincible" problem, but surely they can just make it so we can't even strike at the kids? As soon as the crosshair points at them, the protaganist's weapon is automatically pulled back, like in mass effect.

So, what do you think?

Yeah, I think it would be a good addition. However, you should not be able to kill them.

In Fallout 3 and New Vegas there are children. Why not in the Elder Scrolls? And yes, I would like to see children in the game.

I think it will be handled like in Fallout.

I think there should be children but in the vanilla version we shouldn't be able to kill them... *cough* which is why I like mods... *cough*

You should be able to have kids and then be able to kill them!

I would go into the editor for TESV (I'm prayin for one) and change all the little children's properties to NOT essential!

While this line hasn't been crossed yet I'd like to post a preemptive reminder that child killing is not a permissible topic for the forums.

Including children in the game is perfectly fine as a discussion topic :)

Yes let's hope they have children, children of morrowind gave morrowind so much more depth and realism

I'd like them to be in the game just so it feels more believable.

Yeah children should be in the game, for the sake of creating a more immersive world.

If I can't kill them, I don't want them in the game. Seriously, I want this game to be pretty interactive and realistic. Having characters that are invincible, excluding the quest characters, is just annoying and stupid. I say, let'm in if they can die!

Discussion of child killing is strictly forbidden on the forum. Should you want to discuss children in the game and have no such discussion feel free but first mention of child killing and the topic gets locked.
