Children On The Ark

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 1:52 am

Do you believe we'll see glimpses of children in the background or what about children in cutscenes(ex:Chens 5 year old son,I dunno)
I'm not really sure because there's a lot of legal issues in portraying a child in a game.

You can have kids in games, they just can't die.

Well in one of the cutscenes a resistance fighter mentions that he fed his children, so maybe...

I know that Bioshock and Dead Island really got to the Brink on that issue (cheap pun)

Children are perfectly ok in a game so as long as you cant shoot them.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas have children and if you shoot any of them, they just run away. No blood, no wounds, nothing except an angry mob of NPC's.

Same with fable3, you can't even drag children off to the work houses. Although you can drag your kids to the orphanage.

Is it really only specifically shooting then? I guess that's why you can kill Little Sisters in Bioshock

This is a very good idea for a thread but just some intel: A whole generation has gown up on the ark and im not sure if they have had children and when you heard a resistance fighter say that the kids are probably in teh teens.

I don't think you will see any children during the action scenes. Maybe during the ending depending on your choices made in the game. All women and children should be in hiding.

A Heavy Duty Grandpa. Definitely would be first pick for me in game. Hold he can stand on own and not with cane or walker. Ha...
