Why would the courier die? Technically since all the DLC's have to happen before the actual end of the game, the courier can't die.

He could be specifically meaning one character - one that perhaps dies, maybe he's just trying to get you all worked up about it.

Thats a possibility, but considering that he talks about resting, I think he means he's done period. Since I'm pretty sure they said that all 3 DLC (HH, OWB, and LR) were already done, I'm holding on to the (probably slim) hope that there will be at least one or two more and that that is what he's referring to. Considering obsidian laid off a ton of people though I seriously doubt it.

The thing is, no one confirmed that it was the last DLC. Obsidian might pull a Gearbox. I am hoping for something big, like a trip to California or New Arroyo.

Lonesome road is probably the last DLC. They could do one more after that but what would they do it on. NCR mostly controls Cali, Legion has most of Arizona, We already went east with Honest Hearts, The devs have specificly said that they won't do a DLC on area 51 (Somebody must've gotten a nightmare when doing Mothership Zeta), We probably aren't going back to Reno. So there's only a limited amount of area that we could do that's not going to bring us back into FO1/2 or that interferes with Legion/NCR. The last line is probably spoken by either Ulysess or the antagonist in Lonesome Road.
