Chris avellone hints at dlc's.

Stop looking too deep into it, its a desert (Tibbets Prison, possibly).

Lonesome Road (Accessed through Mojave Outpost Gate, route leads straight into The Hub)
Honest Hearts (Accessed through Northern Passage, leads to New Canaan and involves Joshua Graham)
Old World Blues (Ulysess, Final DLC which may involve the Big Empty.)

SIGH

Lonesome road-canyon wreckage the final dlc no matter what its called takes place at the divide not the big empty.
Honest hearts -you got that one right.
Old World Blues -will be in the big empty!, we may encounter Ulysses there but the final show down with him takes place at the divide mate.

I thought from what I learned at the ending of Dead Money, that the courier and the other courier with an old world flag on his back, (Ulysess?), were to meet at the Great Divide. The Big Empty is were you might learn more about the second courier, (Ulysess), because he past through there, possabily leaving clue as to his where abouts now. Then again, for all we know, the second courier could be anyone.

I don't think you understood me.

Ulysess is a Courier who allowed The Courier to take the chip, he is the only reason we can aid any faction as if he didn't pass it down we wouldn't have been compelled to seek Benny.

Ulysess has a past with The Courier apparantly, he has a pre-war flag on his back. The Big Empty is where Ulysess saved Christine and if the Final DLC is the one to actually show Ulysess and have us find out why he allowed the pieces to fall where they did, we will most likely have more than one 'main' location.

There is an overarching storyline in all DLC's as evidenced by Dead Money, but only the last DLC is going to allow us to meet Ulysess. (Most likely, anyhow.)

Read my post, Lonesome road is not the final DLC. Just because it is on the Wiki, doesn't make it true.

The way I see it is:

Honest Hearts. Graham will mention Ulysess and the Big Empty for whatever reason.

Old World Blues. Someone tells us how to get to the Big Empty, so we go. We find clues as to where Ulysess is.

Lonesome Road. We go find him.

Regardless, still waiting on any hint from the devs. Dying for some DLC.

It's likely, the events at the Divide are supposed to become legendary after all. It makes sense to save the conclusion of the Ulysses story arc for last.

Lonesome road is not involving Ulysess and isn't the final DLC, Old World Blues is what I'm linking to it.

... You haven't said what Lonesome Road refers to. You mention the road leads to the Hub, but we know we aren't visiting previous game's locations from a Tweet by a dev.

I did, but it was stated at the end of Dead Money that the Courier would be facing Ulysses at the Divide, which is where Lonesome Road takes place according to MCA's twitter location.

I am not getting my information from the wiki i am referring to in game references such as both Christine and Dog/Dog, saying The Courier will fight Ulysses at the great divide.
And Lonesome Road is the final DLC based on the Couriers background. There could be more if these sell well.

Actually, Ulysess won't be the main character of the final DLC.

The Final scene will actually be
Spoiler
The Courier in a straight forward slugging match with a giant Mudcrab being ridden by Micheal Bay launching liberty prime sized mini-nukes from it's pincers. True story.

ODYSSEUS (also known as ULYSSES) is an extremely advanced A.I. created by Derek Greenway.

Anyone notice any of the areas in the game that are clearly meant to be entrances to DLC areas? There was a train tunnel that reminded me a lot of The Pitt.

I looked on wiki by Nellis and what would be through the north passage is "groom lake" Otherwise known as area 51. Wiki says Groom Lake is a salt flat part of the Nellis AFB bombing test site airport on the north of area 51.

So if we go through the north passege right there would be a giant salt flat with a landing strip soooooo long that 2 space shudels could land on oposite ends at the same time and not hit each other. It is said to be the largest landing strip in the world.(The second part I know from too much area 51 research) Groom Lake will be the Big Empty... If there is a military institution under it that would be area 51. That is where it all goes down.... What ever it is. I knew we couldn t do Vegas without Area 51 in a fo wouldn t be right.

If Ulysses was and android, I'm sure Christine would've mentioned it.
