Chris avellone hints at dlc's.

Post » Wed Mar 31, 2010 9:34 pm

So both Chris avellone and josh Sawyer have been giving us hints on upcoming dlc's for Fallout New Vegas such as sawyer
sayng on his twitter the burned man woks! and the burned man coming and stuff like that.

So i went on Chris avellones twitter he changed his location to Lonesome road-The Divide and changed his profile picture to this huge eyeball on a monitor. It looks like a in game screenshot of Fallout New vegas.
I am thinking this could be the Mad AI who runs the Big Empty Odysseus who was meant to appear as a minor antagonist in Van buren the canceled fallout 3, heres the wki page for him http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Odysseus
and heres chris avellones twitter link look at his profile pic.http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Odysseus

No the empty is a large empty part of the Mojave wasteland north of new Vegas and a large military installation lies under it.The divide is the great divide on the border between Nevada and California is going to be accessed through
canyon wreckage its basically all the western part of the map we can't get into.

The Mad AI was named Odyessus I think, and it controled Tibbits prison and this could be reference to the DLC's location, if so.

how do we know this though, how do we know every DLC except for dead money the most horrible dlc ive ever played dont tie into one another. because if you read everything in game and everything on falout wiki, it seems to me like theyre planning on him being a recurring characture

I read the Game Files, Graham is tied to Honest Hearts and New Canaan.

Old World Blues heavily leans towards Ulysess as he has an Old World Flag on his back, and he is very depressed or dedicated to finding the Courier.

There is a background story about Ulysess and the Courier, but that does not mean that he is going to appear in it.

The Wiki isn't accurate, it is just speculation just as mine.

I was one of the first people to find the files of Honest Hearts (albiet through a friends copy), don't trust everything you see.

:o Big MT. you get it? big em te? empty? omg. who discovered this? i probably have read that a thousand times but i just got it, MT. daaaaaaaam, nice finddddd.

nd all the dlcs are confusing, it seems like all three predicted (Honest Hearts, old world blues, and lonesome road) are linked together, like, the great divide, i think thats the grand canyon, cuz thats a divide of the earth, and thats were graham is, and ulysses is in the big empty, which is now predicted to be a mountain? he's in the mountains? so what is old world blues about? if ulysses is in lonesome road? i thought it was about the great divide, but the great divide is wear graham is? i swear man, the great divide is the grand canyon... all pretty confusing...

or i might be compleaty off, remember these are just complete guesses based off nothing more then what i think about stuff ... lol

Yeah the Great Divide is definitely confusing. I swear I heard a Legionary say that Graham was cast into the Great Divide, so is it the Grand Canyon? I've heard it said it isn't the Grand Canyon either.

Stop looking too deep into it, its a desert (Tibbets Prison, possibly).

Lonesome Road (Accessed through Mojave Outpost Gate, route leads straight into The Hub)
Honest Hearts (Accessed through Northern Passage, leads to New Canaan and involves Joshua Graham)
Old World Blues (Ulysess, Final DLC which may involve the Big Empty.)

Actually, Ulysess won't be the main character of the final DLC.

The Final scene will actually be
Spoiler
The Courier in a straight forward slugging match with a giant Mudcrab being ridden by Micheal Bay launching liberty prime sized mini-nukes from it's pincers. True story.

It's good that they're hinting at DLC although I'm thinking that the order for the DLC's to come out will be Honest Hearts 1st, then Old World Blues, possibly something else and then finally Lonesome Road as the last DLC.

I thought from what I learned at the ending of Dead Money, that the courier and the other courier with an old world flag on his back, (Ulysess?), were to meet at the Great Divide. The Big Empty is were you might learn more about the second courier, (Ulysess), because he past through there, possabily leaving clue as to his where abouts now. Then again, for all we know, the second courier could be anyone.

Congrats you jerk, now I'm thinking a myriad of thoughts :cryvaultboy:

But I agree, this sounds right. But if Ulysess has a history at the Big Empty, I wonder if he's some Pre-War soldier test subject, or maybe he's a cybord. Or who knows? I mean, his kind of patriotism is very Pre-War/Enclave.

Eljah ,and Christine to a lesser extent, said there was some pretty impressive high-end pre-war tech out in the big empty. Also there were some very dangerous places being patroled by someone or something using that tech. Ulysess may actually have come from there, prisoner in Tibits maybe? Or wandered into the area and got himself "modified" by those who run the place.
