I'd like to do mine myself, but since I just downloaded GIMP: Isn't there a command to colorize just a certain type of colour? That is, morph all black-ish colours towards red-ish ones?

You could select the area you wanted to change, and then alter the hue towards red?

You could simply use the bucket to dump the color red into the black spaces. There are more complex ways, but I can't really explain them in text. There are numerous tutorials on Youtube though..

For one, it can't be a .bmp file. Second, it has to be on the internet. Do you have a photobucket account?

Yes I do, I posted it on photobucket but when I link to the pic it says I can't use it. I'm pretty sure I have the size right but I really have no idea what I'm doing here lol.

This is it:

If I could get it a bit bigger that would be nice, but like I said before, I don't know what I'm doing.

You just needed to knock off everything after the .jpg off the URL. I have no idea what all that junk code does anyway?

Made one for myself. Really ought to dig up the source image, trying to recreate the background was a pain.

[edit] now with animation.

How festive...
and

...terrifying.

Erm, it may not be exactly what you wanted, but I think it's a decent piece of work...

Edit: I didn't put the background in there, it was a result of the program I used to separate the GIF.

Every time the finger hits the ban button have a - +1 [candy-cane picture] - pop up.
