Todd said they provided Spike with the background art for the VGA announcement. So it could be in-game (unlikely) or concept art. Maybe we've had our first screen.

Please Bethesda Game Studios, we would like something. Hell, the name of the new engine would probably be enough.

Well, obviously there's a screen-shot on someone's website, they're out there, getting in our minds and making us loose sleep. So ya'll need to find who has them, search the servers, and post them here 'cause there's screen-shots out there and they're making us all desperate up in here.

Ya, they obviously have a deal with GI. You can figure how high the sales will be of their next issue, judging by the hype. They probably payed Bethesda a good bit for the exclusive rights to publish ingame screenshots and information in the US, with similar deals in other countries. No chance for a leak, I'm afraid.

So we're barking up the wrong tree?

Grab the torches and pitchforks people, it's off to the forums of GI!!

As much as I would like to see screenshots, I do hope they don't leak one since they'd be breaking their contract with GI and I don't want my favorite devs to be such dishonorable reprobates!

I wouldn't hope for a screenshot, as that's clearly GI territory to me. But a fresh piece of concept art, or an updated Tamrielic map, or a snippet from a book, or some photos from 'behind the scenes'... Those I could see not being a part of the GI package.

While a screenshot would be nice and give us another talking point, I'll bet that Beth has an NDA with GI that gives them first rights to screenshots/information etc. Unless Beth negotiated it up front, I doubt we'll get anything before Jan 6th, when the Feb GI comes out.

Ok, so we are supposed to have an embargo on Skyrim info until the Feb GI. Personally, while I can wait a bit longer, I feel like having a tiny bit of info before then could keep the hype train rolling. I was thinking maybe, say, a single screenshot on Christmas. It would be an excellent gift to all the fans who have been on this thread for months or years and would be an awesome way to recognize the game on a day most commonly associated with winter and therefore snow (think about it). Please, Bethesda, do this tiny thing for us. Thanks, we all love you.

Highly unlikely now that they've given GameInformer the formalities of revealing Skyrim. However, I'd love a random factoid or snippet about the game on Christmas. Please Bethesda! At least...tell us what color the interface is?
